Get to know the President of Lycon North America

One on One: Lindsay Miller, President of Lycon North America

What’s the best career decision you’ve ever made?

Returning to school to complete my MBA. My undergraduate degree was in human kinetics, and after graduating I worked for a marketing company that focused on managing events. I loved the role’s fast pace and on-the-spot problem solving, but after two years I felt it was time to get more business-specific training. I’m so glad I did it as it prepared me for my current position.

To what do you attribute Lycon’s success?

The quality of the product. I’m proud to stand behind something I believe in and that our customers love worldwide.

Who inspires you?

My dad. He’s a mechanical engineer, and living proof that hard work pays o. Seeing the success that he has achieved in his own manufacturing businesses has inspired me to never give up and to continue working hard to achieve success.

Who would you most like to meet?

Olympic Gold Medalist Lindsey Vonn. Her work ethic and dedication to becoming the best in her sport is unsurpassed. She motivates me to keep working toward my life goals.

What would you do differently if you could start all over again?

I wouldn’t worry about what I was going to be when I grew up. I truly believe that all things happen for a reason and if you’re open-minded to experiences, opportunities will present themselves when you least expect them!

What’s on your bucket list?

Taking a trip with my husband to the Maldives to relax on a beautiful beach with a good book and no cell phone!

What is Lycon’s hero product and why?

Lycon founder Lydia Jordane and Lindsay Miller

Lycojet Lavender is known as our ‘Super Hero’ wax. It can grab really short (even 1mm), stubborn hair that other waxes aren’t able to get. It also contains ingredients such as chamomile and lavender to further soothe the skin.

Personal mantra?

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up and never give up.

A Biggest fear?

Charades!

A Favorite food?

Sushi.

A Last good book you read?

The 4-Hour Workweek (Crown Publishing Group, 2007) by Timothy Ferriss.

A Can’t leave the house without…

A great playlist with a random mix of John Mayer and Michael Jackson!
